Mental Health Resources


Mental Health America Wabash Valley:

We have a 24/7 crisis center that anyone can call or text and speak with a trained specialist. Individual supportive services include a mental health navigator connecting individuals with community service, our Let's Talk program connecting students with trained peer specialists, and several support groups that meet in-person and virtually. Our education programs and trainings include Mental Health First Aid, a suicide prevention course called Question-Persuade-Refer (QPR), and crisis intervention trainings.

The Counseling and Guidance Center is the counseling service and training facility for the College of Education on the Purdue University campus. Since 1953, the Counseling and Guidance Center has been assisting people with a variety of educational, career, and personal problems.

Boilermaker Support Network:

A student organization that hosts weekly peer-to-peer support groups by trained students on campus. Everyone is welcome to sign up and get connected with this relatable mental well-being resource. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS):

We help Purdue students develop collaborative, long-lasting relationships in a safe and respectful environment through individual, group, and couples psychotherapy, psychological testing, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, drug/alcohol programs, outreach and consultation, and professional training.

We help students navigate landlord/tenant disputes, criminal issues, power of attorney, traffic tickets, garnishment and collection matters, notary services, family law issues, name changes, city or county ordinance violations, and small claims.

Purdue Pharmacy:

Located in Room 118 of the Pharmacy Building, we offer numerous clinical services including routine vaccinations, flu shots, and tobacco cessation counseling. We also offer a variety of affordable, non-prescription, over-the-counter (OTC) medications and maintain two vending machines located in the Recreational Sports Center and WALC to provide 24/7 access to OTC items.

CARE provides non-judgmental, empowering resources and services to help survivors, along with their friends and family, access relevant information and assess their reporting options. Financial Resources for Student Organizations


Student Organization Grant Allocation (SOGA):

The SOGA Board is responsible for allocating funds to student organizations registered with the Student Activities & Organizations Office to support their activities, events, travel, and services, enhancing campus life and, promoting opportunities for leadership development, engagement with the community, and idea exchange. These funds, made available by the Purdue administration’s Student Activities Fee, benefit the members of student organizations on the West Lafayette campus.

Student Fee Advisory Board (SFAB):

The SFAB is a permanent, stand-alone committee that reports to the Purdue Student Government Senate providing a periodic, student-led periodic review of all undergraduate student fees. The Board has direct authority over the continuation of the Student Activity Fee as well as the allocation of its funds. The Board also provides input to the OFfice of the Executive Vice President and Treasurer on student body extracurricular fees through a statement of endorsement or a statement of concern.

Purdue Student Government Small Grant:

The PSG Small Grant, managed by the Senate Financial Affairs Committee, provides direct financial support to club initiatives registered Purdue Student Organizations on the West Lafayette campus via funds of up to $1000. These funds are made available annually and grant applications are reviewed weekly; see the Small Grant Guidelines included in the application below for more specific information.

Survivors should use these forms to initiate a formal investigation or request an informal dispute resolution (such as a No Contact Directive). Complaint forms cannot be filed by friends, family, or teachers of the victims. If you are trying to address conduct that was not directed at you, please file an Incident Report and OIE will follow up accordingly.
