Earth Week at Purdue!
Purdue Student Government and the Boiler Green Organizations Coalition will celebrate earth week 2026 on April 20th - April 24th. Events listed below are open to the West Lafayette campus community, including students, faculty and staff. Registration is not required unless otherwise noted.
The West Lafayette campus celebrates Earth Week – a campus initiative to promote and share sustainable practices through a variety of free events that are open to the campus community, and also celebrating earth week!

Boiler Bug Barn
3 PM - 5 PM, Smith Hall
Join the Thomas Say Entomological Society as they host open hours for the Boiler Bug Barn, where you can check out bug samples with the only bug club on campus!

ISF Air Pollution Webinar
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
This talk focuses on assessing health risks from outdoor and indoor air pollution, highlighting oxidative potential as a metric for particle toxicity and demonstrating how measurements of particulate matter across indoor and outdoor environments can improve understanding of exposure, toxicity, and health impacts beyond traditional mass-based indicators.

PSG Patchwork Workshop Mending Event

Learn to sew patchwork onto your clothing! The patchwork upcycling workshop will be an opportunity to give a new life to cloths you don’t wear enough. Sewing experience would be nice, but not required. Fabric and snacks provided!

All Friday samplers will pick up supplies at the Lilly Nature Center at the Celery Bog (1620 Lindberg Rd, West Lafayette). All Saturday Samplers will pick up supplies at the Mar Len Park (County Road 150 E, just South of Wea Ridge Elementary School)
